A Bluffer’s Guide to Ted Hughes

Poet, Ian McMillan, will be presenting a short documentary on Ted Hughes. He came to Mytholmroyd with Channel 4 to film in and around Hebden Bridge, where Ted was born and raised.
Our treasured member of The Elmet Trust, Donald Crossley, and childhood friend of Ted Hughes, shared some of his boyhood memories with Ian and gave him a tour of 1 Aspinall Street, Ted Hughes' birthplace.
The documentary presents a short guide to Ted Hughes' life and work being screened on Channel 4 and More 4. So look out for Ian and Donald on The TV Book Club this Summer...
