Celebrating the Life and Work of Ted Hughes
Sculpture of Ted Hughes
Graham High travels up North to hand-deliver Ted Hughes sculpture to our festival ...
Professional sculptor Graham High will be visiting the Ted Hughes Festival and bringing along his artwork for all to see!
Graham's interest in poetry inspired one of his previous projects to produce portraits of some of his most admired English speaking poets. Our poet Ted Hughes was among this literary crowd and festival goers will be fortunate to see the Ted Hughes sculpture in Mytholmroyd during the week of the Ted Hughes festival. A cast is now being prepared!
Graham is offering to loan this to The Elmet Trust so that visitors can view the sculpture in the foyer of the Ted Hughes Theatre at Calder High School from Thursday 23rd October. For one week only at The Ted Hughes Festival, don't miss seeing this in 3D!
